Welcome Back Sailors are Italian.

Oh wait, that doesn't really tell you anything. The band's a duo currently tossing up "balearic, chillwave, electo, indie, tropical" jams onto the interwebs (their words, not mine, but it just about sums things up).

Highlife Deliver the Afro-Pop with "F Kenya Rip"

Highlife, the new-ish Afro-pop outfit fronted by Sleepy Doug Shaw (of White Magic/Gang Gang Dance), is dropping a new EP next week on The Social Registry.

The record's fantastic first single, "F Kenya Rip," is a bright, breezy jam that's appropriately Franco-sounding with an added dash of Animal Collective. Add the tropical tune to your end-of-summer playlist immediately.
