MP3s: Radiohead's Record Store Day 12"

As Radiohead fans were already well aware, the band released two new songs on Record Store Day: the Supercollider / The Butcher 12". You were able to stream vinyl rips of both tracks as early as last week, but HQ MP3s have unsurprisingly found their way onto the interwebs.

Anyone who thought The King of Limbs was too brief can find the solid tracks down below...

Burial + Thom Yorke + Four Tet = Glorious

Look out King of Limbs, we have a new contender for the musicgasm event of 2011: A two song, 12" collaboration between Burial, Four Tet, and Thom Yorke. Does it get any better?

No, it does not.

"Ego" and "Mirror" are near-perfect distillations of the auteurs--you can hear three distinct contributions with no artist blowing out the others, striking a balance that comes off as collaborative kismet. More please.

Radiohead Release "The King of Limbs" One Day Early!

It's 1:15 PM and by now, even my grandma knows Radiohead digitally released their new LP today. For those too lazy or poor, I'm hosting The King of Limbs down below.

I already gave it two spins this morning and can confirm that Radiohead again showcase their inability to make a bad record; Christmas has indeed come early.

Unless you've somehow managed to shut out every single advertising platform known to man, you're well aware that today is Valentine's Day. To celebrate such an ostentatious afternoon and evening, I've whipped up a mix that is sure to please the happily in love, the blissfully ignorant, or those who've got a date with their Xbox/ice cream/cats tonight. Chaucer would approve.
